What are passt! and richtiggut.de?

passt! is BAUHAUS's free customer magazine. Its 80 pages provide information on trends in the areas of construction, renovation, do-it-yourself, gardening, and balconies. In a variety of reports, profiles, and interviews, it gives a voice to people who do something extraordinary or are particularly good at something. People who get new things off the ground, tackle things creatively, and pursue their sometimes visionary ideas with passion. The website richtiggut.de explores topics for DIY enthusiasts and craftsmen in greater depth, supplementing them with videos and step-by-step instructions, for example.

Implementation

Selected articles from passt! magazine are extended into the digital realm by storyboard, creating a seamless connection between print and online. In addition, we continuously develop new, independent content that enriches richtiggut.de with fresh ideas and trends. By regularly maintaining and updating the existing content, we ensure that the online magazine remains relevant and inspiring.

We enter all articles into the BAUHAUS content management system, thus ensuring a smooth publication process. In addition, storyboard creates a magazine animation for each issue, which BAUHAUS publishes on its social media channels on the publication date.

  • Video production

Implementation

Our photographers capture the atmosphere of the people and companies portrayed in an authentic way. A videographer often complements the production team. This results in high-quality videos as well as images, which are played on richtiggut.de, the BAUHAUS Instagram channel, or in the BAUHAUS app—as in the report on Wuppertal-based canoe builder Fritz Siepen. Or trail maintenance worker Andi Schatz from the Austrian Alpine Club, who looks after the numerous hiking trails with the help of young volunteers.

Image and video material is also regularly produced for DIY ideas: from detailed step-by-step instructions for the website and app to animations for social media. One example is the DIY balcony bar, whose creation process our team visualized and animated for richtiggut.de and Instagram.
